A map of your disk. Every block is a folder; the bigger the block, the more space it takes. Clean the safe parts in one click.

## Features

- **Blocks, not a list.** Every block is a folder and its size is the space it takes. Click to inspect, double-click to open. Blocks inside blocks, down to the file.
- **Split up like in Settings.** macOS, System Data, apps, documents and developer data are shown separately, so the mystery gigabytes have a place.
- **One click, only the safe part.** Removes what apps rebuild on their own: caches, logs, build leftovers.
- **Trash first.** Anything not clearly safe goes to the Trash.
- **Or pick it yourself.** Select a block, see what can go. Items are marked Safe, Review or Protected, and striped on the map before you confirm.
- **Where the gigabytes hide.** Xcode DerivedData and simulators, npm, Gradle and Cargo caches, Hugging Face models, Docker.
- **Nothing leaves your Mac.** No accounts, no analytics, no tracking. File names and sizes stay on the machine.

## How it works

1. **Allow access.** Choose your Home folder once. You decide what the app can see.
2. **Scan.** The map builds itself. Play Tetris while a big disk is scanned.
3. **Clean.** Press Auto clean, or select items yourself and confirm.

## Questions

**Is it safe to use?**
Yes. Nothing is removed without your confirmation. Auto clean touches only data that apps recreate themselves, such as caches and logs. Everything else is marked Review and goes to the Trash, and system files are protected.

**What does Auto clean remove?**
Per-app caches in your Library, logs, Xcode build leftovers and device support files, the simulator cache, npm and similar package caches, and old downloaded update packages. You can always see the exact list first.

**Why does the app ask me to choose my Home folder?**
Apps from the Mac App Store run in a sandbox, and macOS lets them see only the folders you pick. Choose your Home folder once; the permission is remembered and you can change it later.

**Does it send my data anywhere?**
No. The app reads file names and sizes on your Mac and never uploads them. There are no accounts, analytics or ads. Purchases are handled by Apple.

**What is System Data, and why do the numbers differ from macOS Settings?**
System Data is space macOS cannot attribute to a category: caches, logs, snapshots, indexes and more. Settings also counts things apps cannot see, such as APFS snapshots and purgeable space, so the figures will not match exactly. The app shows what it can trace to folders and keeps the rest as a separate block.

**Which Macs does it support?**
macOS 14 Sonoma or later.

**Is it really open source?**
Yes, under the MIT license. The open-source edition has no purchases and uses Full Disk Access for a complete scan. Find it on GitHub, and contributors are welcome.

**How do I get help or report a bug?**
Write to lopol3000@gmail.com or open an issue on GitHub.
