# Privacy Policy — See Your Disk

_Last updated: 2026-10-15_

**See Your Disk does not collect, store, transmit or share any personal data.** Everything the app does happens on your Mac.

## What the app does with your files

To draw the disk map the app reads file and folder names and sizes in the folders you allow it to access (your Home folder, Applications and system folders it can read). This is done locally. The app does not read the contents of your documents.

## What we do not do

- We do not upload your files, file names or sizes anywhere.
- We have no analytics, advertising, tracking or user accounts.
- We do not sell or share any data, because we do not collect any.

## Removing files

Files are removed only after you confirm. Items that are not clearly safe are moved to the Trash first.

## Purchases

The monthly subscription and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies to the purchase.

## Settings stored on your Mac

The app keeps a few preferences on your Mac, for example that the introduction was shown, your sound setting, the folder permission you granted and a usage counter. They never leave your Mac.

## This website

This website is static. It sets no cookies, uses no analytics and loads no third-party scripts. Our hosting provider may keep standard technical server logs for security and reliability.

## Children

The app is a general utility and is not directed at children. It collects no data from anyone.

## Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
