# Support — See Your Disk

## Purchases and subscriptions

- **Restore a purchase:** open the gear menu in the app's toolbar, then “Restore purchases”.
- **Cancel or manage the monthly subscription:** in the App Store, open your account, then Subscriptions, or use [Apple's subscription page](https://apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions). Deleting the app does not cancel it.
- **Moved from Monthly to Lifetime?** The monthly subscription is not cancelled automatically. Cancel it as described above so you are not charged again.
- **Refunds** are handled by Apple: [reportaproblem.apple.com](https://reportaproblem.apple.com).


## Common questions

**Why does the app ask for my Home folder?** Mac App Store apps run in a sandbox, and macOS lets them see only folders you choose. Pick your Home folder once; you can change it later.

**Why do the sizes differ from macOS Settings?** Settings also counts APFS snapshots, purgeable space and metadata that apps cannot see. The app shows what it can trace to folders and keeps the rest as a separate System Data block.

**Is it safe to press Auto clean?** It only removes data that apps recreate themselves, such as caches and logs. Everything else is marked Review and goes to the Trash first.
