# Terms of Use — See Your Disk

_Last updated: 2026-10-15_

By downloading or using See Your Disk ("the app") you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

## 1. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on Apple devices you own or control, as permitted by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions and the Usage Rules for the App Store. The open-source edition is licensed under the MIT License; see the repository on GitHub.

## 2. What the app does

The app shows how disk space is used and lets you remove files you select. Nothing is removed without your confirmation. Items that are not clearly safe are moved to the Trash first.

## 3. Your responsibility

Deleting files can cause data loss or make other apps behave differently, for example by having to download or rebuild data. You decide what to remove. Keep backups of anything important. The app gives suggestions, but you are responsible for the choices you confirm.

## 4. Purchases and subscriptions

- **Monthly subscription:** billed monthly to your Apple account and renews automatically until you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel it in your Apple account settings. Deleting the app does not cancel the subscription.
- **Lifetime license:** a one-time purchase that unlocks unlimited cleaning in this app on your Apple account, including future updates of the app.
- If you buy Lifetime while a monthly subscription is active, the subscription is **not** cancelled automatically. Cancel it in your Apple account settings to avoid further charges.
- Payment, refunds and billing are handled by Apple under Apple's policies. You can restore purchases inside the app.
- Prices may differ by region and may change; subscription price changes follow Apple's rules.

## 5. Disclaimer of warranty

The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Sizes shown by the app may differ from those shown by macOS, because macOS also counts snapshots, purgeable space and metadata that apps cannot see.

## 6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for data loss resulting from your use of the app.

## 7. Privacy

See the [Privacy Policy](/privacy/).

## 8. Changes

We may update these terms and the app. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms.
